brings together and empowers local South Asian communities in the Midwest by providing life changing legal and mental health resources to increase the knowledge of and prevent further family violence.
ABOUT
Founded in 2022, Umeed-Hope Inc is a youth-led 501c3 Nonprofit made up of individuals that come from a vast range of educational backgrounds from a Juris Doctorate or a Bachelors in Psychology to currently studying to obtain a Bachelor’s in Sociology or Engineering. We are all volunteering our time and skill sets to this initiative with a specific goal in mind: to bring an end to family violence.

Hold events targeting specific populations within the South Asian Community to help build bonds to create a growing and healing environment for everybody and increase our social impact.
Teach young individuals critical life skills that will increase their quality of life by empowering them to voice their opinions, be able to process complex emotions, and build a circle of support to conquer future goals.
Licensed professionals will provide their services for free and direct individuals through filing charges and facing trauma that they have endured. Our professionals are licensed in family law, immigration law, and many possess clinical skills.
